BASE jumping, and more specifically a recent offshoot called "wingsuit proximity flying," has become very popular over the past couple of years. As if BASE jumping wasn't dangerous enough already, right? I have to admit, though, it is impressive to watch.

Are you an outdoor nut like me? If you are, then there's a good chance you've already visited some of the places on this list. If there's one thing I love most about living in this great big country of ours, it's the amazing diversity of beautiful outdoor landscapes. From coast to coast, the United States has 58 national parks and more than 6,500 state parks, according to the NASPD. That's a lot of places to enjoy the outdoors this Spring Break!

I put together this list based on two

Recently, I had a chance to catch up with Jeremiah Mackmiller, the general merchandise manager at Sierra Trading Post. Just getting ten minutes to chat with Jeremiah is actually kind of an accomplishment, because he's one of the busiest guys in the office. Basically, he's the big kahuna in the buying department, and they've all been busy bees over the past few months, attending trade shows, making connections with new brands and cutting some sweet deals
