    Back in 2010, I posted an article about the Red Bull Stratos project, which was supposedly getting ready to send Austrian BASE jumper and international stuntman Felix Baumgartner on a record-breaking skydive from 120,000 feet above the Earth's surface (basically the edge of space).     The internet has been abuzz with news this morning about American professional BASE jumper, Jeb Corliss, who miraculously survived a botched BASE jump attempt at Table Mountain in South Africa yesterday. The Sun reported yesterday that Corliss broke both his legs in the crash and was immediately rushed to intensive care. Apparently he was in "good spirits" upon arriving at the hospital, despite his serious injuries.
