julious threattsSure, some people look young. But can a 21-year-old man be mistaken for a 14-year-old? Apparently so - at least for a little while.

21-year-old Julious Threatts was able to register, and play, for a middle-school aged recreational football youth league, the Tampa Bay Youth Football League. Threatts not only tried to play football by posing as a middle-school-aged child, he also attempted to enroll in middle school with a forged birth certificate under the false name of Chad Jordan.

At first, he had everyone at the school fooled. But when school administrators spoke with his real mother, the truth came out. Threatts has a troubled background, is on probation for burglary charges, and has apparently tried this stunt before in other youth football leagues. He can now add Trespassing (and possibly criminal forgery) to his rap sheet.

"I brought him into this room with seven of our board members and coaches and said, 'Come on now, tell us the truth, who are you?' " McCloud said. "He looked me right in the eye and said, 'I swear I am who I say I am. I'm Chad Jordan. This guy had us all fooled. I mean this guy acted just like a little kid. Everything about him was a little kid. He's a total scam artist."

Hopefully officials can work to make sure this doesn't happen again. With his criminal background, who knows what this guy's intentions were.
