When Camelbak created the first hydration pack system, it was a huge hit with mountain bikers because they could drink while riding without having to use their hands. It wasn't long before the rest of the fitness world took notice of the backpack hydration craze and soon runners, walkers, cyclists, hikers, snowboarders, skiers, other athletes and even soldiers were praising the genius that is Camelbak. Since then, studies have shown athletes perform better and stay more hydrated when they wear a Camelbak versus holding a water bottle. "CamelBak Stamina II Hip Hydration Pack with two water bottles is a great product," writes A Dot in a recent review. "I hate stopping to take a drink on 8-10 milers, and this solves that problem. The water bottles are great and its pretty comfy. There is a little bounce, which takes some getting used to, but its not bouncy enough where the water bottles will fly out. Its expected when running with something on your waist, but the minor annoyance of the bounce is overshadowed by the convenience of having 44oz of water with you. This will be perfect for the summer when you need a drink every few feet!"
