Deep flight super falcon underwater airplaneIf you like to scuba dive and fly airplanes, you're going to love this "flying" submersible.

The Deep Flight Super Falcon is basically an underwater airplane, with two sets of wings, two tail fins, and a cockpit with two seats.

It can do everything a plane can do in the air, just underwater - it can glide, roll and dive. In fact, the Super Falcon was designed to be more agile than any creature in the ocean (with the exception of dolphins).

Creator Graham Hawkes wanted to design a flying submersible machine that would allow clients to swim with sharks, whales and dolphins and explore remote parts of the ocean with the grace of other sea creatures. The submarine can stay underwater for five hours and travel at 6 knots. Unfortunately, the price tag is a little high. The Super Falcon costs about 1 million dollars. (The 3-day course needed to pilot the craft costs $17,000.)

"Do you want to stalk a shark?" Hawkes asked in the article. "Do you want to go up to a Great White and go woo-hoo? Do you want to do a barrel roll with a whale? Shall we go and find some territories that humans have never seen before? Get in one of these machines, get below 150 feet -- the deepest that divers go -- and you are the first human eyes to look at that piece of the planet."

If you had an extra million dollars, would you spend it on this?
