Last year climber Steph Davis free soloed and BASE jumped off Castleton Tower in Castle Valley, Utah. Both of those things - free solo climbing and BASE jumping - take an incredible amount of courage and fearlessness.

You will never catch me doing either of those things. But you may catch me watching videos of other people doing those things. Like right now. Check out Davis' Castleton free solo climb and BASE jump below...

"It's so beautiful how connected BASE jumping is to climbing," Davis said in an Alpinist article. "Both communities overlap in the places they go and what they find interesting. Climbing and jumping off Castleton was a great way to combine those two worlds, and to find another way to experience that special place."

What do you think? Are free soloing and BASE jumping a perfect match? Or are they both just plain crazy?
