Jon Siefkes sent us this trip report with awesome photos from his annual wakeboarding and houseboat adventure on Lake Powell. Thanks, Jon!
John Capezzuto performs a flip (which he landed) wakeboarding in Cedar Canyon, at Lake Powell September 2009.
Warm 78 degree water, and a very arid warm climate make Lake Powell ideal for swimming, wakeboarding, watersports, and hiking the most surreal landscape imaginable.
In the third photograph, Jon Siefkes stands on a cliff with Lake Powell’s famed Tapestry Wall in the background.
Tapestry Wall is a must see for anyone visiting the north side of the lake, as it presents many vibrant colors which change as the sun cycles through the sky. Some say it is almost as if tapestries are hanging in sheer vertical sequence.
Great pics! Thanks, Jon!
