Congratulations, Lisa Stevens - we've chosen your stunning shot, "Appalachian Thru Hike," as the winner of this week's Share Your Adventure Photo Contest! It's absolutely beautiful.

About the photographer: "I lived on a sailboat for the first two years of my life and grew up in Annapolis, MD," writes Stevens. "I'm an outdoor enthusiast who has kayaked the length of the Chesapeake Bay and hiked the entire Appalachian Trail. I'm currently pursuing a J.D. degree in a Masters in Environmental Law and Policy at Vermont Law school and picking up the local sports of snow shoeing and cross country skiing."

About the photograph: "As I summitted the West Peak of the Bigelow Mountain Range on the Appalachian Trail in Southern Maine I was struck by the amazing lighting," she continues. "I immediately looked around for a way to set up the shot and ran over to the perfectly lit peak to pose for my picture. I took this picture in fall of 2005 with a small point-and-shoot Sony digital camera."

As a winner of the Share Your Adventure Photo contest, Lisa will receive a $50 Sierra Trading Post gift card, have her photo published on Sierra Blogging Post and possibly featured in a future STP DealFlyer email!

Each week, we're clearing our inbox at iscreamsocial@sierratradingpost.com so you can "hit us with your best shot." Every Friday, a brand new winner will receive a $50 Sierra Trading Post gift card, plus have their photo featured on the Sierra Blogging Post. But that's not all! How to Enter
Send us your digital picture with this entry form! Submit your entry(s) to us at iscreamsocial@sierratradingpost.com by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday each week. You may send more than one entry for each weekly contest. If your photo features minors (less than 18 years of age) please include this minor model release form with your entry.
Judging

Images will be judged based on creativity, image quality and artistic composition by our panel of photographers, graphic artists, website designers and public relations specialists. One (1) weekly winner will be announced on the Sierra Blogging Post the following Friday.

Image Restrictions
Minimum image size is 300 by 650 pixels at 72 dpi. Images should be submitted in JPG (at high quality) or TIFF format. File sizes must be less than 500K per image. No watermarks, signatures or copyright notices may be added. All winning images will be displayed with the photographer’s first and last name, unless otherwise requested.
