Curt Gowdy State Park

Living in Cheyenne, I spend a good chunk of my summer at Curt Gowdy State Park. I run and hike the trails with and without my dog, Masz. I bike (and mostly crash) out there, though I haven't used the skills part to any great effect unless you count comedic effect. There's an archery range, which I haven't actually used yet, though I do own a bow. There's also some great fishing there, which I also plan to do ... as soon as I find that fly rod.
Because we're blogging about it today, I thought it might be nice to share a few more pictures of Curt Gowdy State Park via my Flickr stream.
I think my favorite part of Gowdy is the hike to Hidden Falls. It's very well shaded, and usually I can spot some lovely wild flowers. The bonus in hiking to water means I can take a break at the falls while Masz swims in the pool at the bottom of the fall.
