    Most people who know me are aware that the small town I live in is in the middle of the Pawnee National Grassland. The PNG is comprised of an area of 193,000 acres spread out in an area of Weld County, Colorado that is approximately 60 miles long and 30 miles wide. Most weekends I can be found hiking and exploring the Pawnee National Grasslands.

    This past weekend, the Colorado and Southern Wyoming Rockies actually saw some snow. Cheyenne had 6 to 8 inches of the white stuff! Not bad for mid October.
