Woolrich Brand Giveaway

Cooler weather is sweeping across the country. We are pulling out the flannel shirts, wool sweaters and jackets to stay warm. One of our favorite brands for warm fall and winter clothing is Woolrich. From fun fall fashions to practical designs, Woolrich provides the best options for men’s and women’s clothing. Keep Reading to learn more about this brand then enter to win our giveaway at the bottom of this post.

John Rich started selling socks from the back of a mule in the early 1800′s. In 1830, he built America’s first woolen mill. Since that early beginning, Woolrich has stuck to the belief that clothing should be well designed, well constructed and made from the best materials. As a testament to its legendary influence on outdoor fashion, Woolrich still manufacturers one of its original best-sellers — the ever-popular buffalo shirt in bold red and black plaid.

I dearly loved my Woolrich Buffalo plaid shirt. We took many XCountry ski tours and back packing trips over the years. Couldn’t wear it out, but gradually grew out of it. Love to have another !

I love when fall comes because I can’t wait to get into my Woolrich cords, vests and wool jacket. They last forever and only get better with age (but I still buy something new every fall.)

Years ago I had a Woolrich wool shirt that I really like.It could be used over a base layer and was quite warm.It had buttons in front so that if you became too warm it would allow you to cool down.

The best parts of autumn are hiking with more cozy layers, enjoying campfires, and harvesting the last of the garden!

I love being able to get out in the fresh, crisp air early in the morning; the beautiful sun shining on all the gorgeous colors of the leaves; the smell of the spent garden; kicking up piles of leaves and watching my Aussie play with abandon in the leaves; It’s kind of like a ‘party’ before winter closes in! What’s not to like?!?! OH….and it helps to have great pieces of clothing that keep you comfortable as the weather changes – pieces like Woolrich that are always high quality and well fashioned! They have never disappointed me.

I like the transit microfleece Jacket because of its comfortable style that will surely fit for my busy lifestyle. Other styles are impressive and seems to have high quality too but transit for me is the nicest.

What I love most about Autumn is those first super chilly mornings when I go outside before sunrise and the sky is crisp and the constellations clear. To me it is when the sky is at its sharpest and most beautiful.

There’s one thing I love the most about the Fall season and that’s ‘hunting season’! Enough said.

The brisk morning air as it slowly warms in the weakening sunlight… The smell of wet leaves moldering on the ground… And the grey glimpse of a snowstorm along the mountains.

I love wearing sweaters in the autumn, so that’s close to my top, but not the top. I love the cool, crisp air, especially when it’s almost frosty out and you can feel the chill in the air. That and the crunch that the leaves make when you walk over them.

Item 6, I already listed as my fav., but I forgot to say what I love about fall. The beauty of the season change in the South can not be matched anywhere in the world. A boat ride down the river can show spectacular visions between dozens of campgrounds. Fishing, camping, hiking, and my favorite, roasting marshmallows. Yea, I know, it’s not a sport, but it has to be done!! Oops, can’t forget football, Roll Tide!!

I love hiking and camping in Autumn because trails tend to be a lot less crowded. I also like being able to take foods that don’t stand up well to heat and humidity to cook at camp e.g cheese and meats.

I love the colorful autumn leaves, cool temperatures, changeable weather and hiking along leaf covered trails. It is also a great time to get out my favorite Woolrich blanket to cuddle up under in the evening.

Fall, here in the Western Colorado High Desert, means we can be outside all day. In summer the sun is too hot, even if the temperature isn’t. The Aspens in the mountains around us are brilliant as are the Cottonwwods along the rivers. I drove up on the Uncompahgre Plateau and saw the real cowboys rounding up their cows on horseback. Every camping spot is filled with hunters. I love it.

I love the feeling of the sun trying to burn through the cold air throughout the day. You can feel it wanting to be hot, but it just can’t make it happen. Love that.

I love the fall because it’s so alive! Even thought the leaves are changing, wildlife is busy preparing for winter. Birds are migrating, animal are breeding & gathering food and fish are spawning upriver. Even though a yearly life cycle comes to an end nature is alive. It’s a wonderful time to get off the couch get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Woolrich clothing keeps me comfortable and makes the time outdoors more enjoyable. When the day is over the smells and tastes of autum make the indoors a great way to end the day.

Autumn is a great time of the year. I live in north west PA and the tree colors are great. It is cool enough that the flies and mosquitos are not out and hiking is much nicer. A nice Woolrich first fork mock turtle neck and a light Woolrich wool jacket and you are all set for a romp in the woods.

I love the moody weather; one day the sun is shining with a chill in the air, the next it’s raining and the skies are gray. The changing leaves, hot apple cider, and putting on my favorite outdoor gear: microfleece, flannel, wool, to get cozy outside.

When I was a kid, I used to call this time of year “hoody weather”. I loved and still love those crisp mornings and evenings with sunny warm blue skies during the day. Fall is by far one of my favorite times of year, especially here in central PA.

I love a lot about autumn. Hiking in the northeast is the best in autumn just before it gets too cold but the foliage is all bright and falling. I love apple harvest. I love hiking with my dog and watching her tear through piles of leaves. I also like autumn for the clothes I get to wear. Layers! The vest with arctic mictrofiber would be awesome.
